A$AP Rocky has received a backlash from Taylor Swift fans after he used her name in a video for a new song entitled ‘Taylor Swif’. The video, (below), was filmed in Kyiv, Ukraine, two months before the Russian invasion which started in 2022 strangely enough. The track first leaked that same year after he performed it at Rolling Loud in Portugal but it has now finally got an official release. It features the lyrics: “I’m too swift, don’t tell Taylor ’bout this shit (Yeah, a stick-up kid) / I’m too swift (Yeah, yeah), now don’t tell Taylor ’bout this shit.” Since its release many of Taylor Swift’s fans have criticised the song.
“Asap rocky is a clout chaser lol using Tailor Swif as the title,” one wrote while another added: “Why does every male rapper wanna have beef with her?”
Weather folks think it’s trading off a name, or just typical Hip Hop mud slinging, the track is a banger in true A$AP style. Check it out below.
